Multi-Sensor Probe (MSP)

Real-time Brix + temperature stratification insights.

Gain a true picture of what’s happening inside your tanks — and take control before problems arise. Unlike traditional thermowells, which often miss critical temperature zones, our custom-designed multi-sensor probe delivers a vertical profile of the tank, capturing multiple temperature points and real-time Brix data.

50°F stratifications are real — and difficult to detect without this tech.
In one documented case (pictured right), VinWizard alerted winemakers to a dangerous 100°F hot zone just 24” above the thermowell — saving a fermentation that might otherwise have been lost.

Armed with this level of insight, winemakers can fine-tune pumpover schedules, time nutrient additions more effectively, and avoid difficult conversations with custom crush clients by managing ferments proactively.

Single Tank Controller (STC)

Eyes on the tank.

The STC is a robust, tank-mounted controller offering both wired and wireless connectivity. Designed for flexibility, it supports up to two temperature inputs and four control outputs — perfect for managing hot/cold glycol, pumpover cycles, venturi valves, and more.

With a built-in display, operators can view tank temperature directly at the tank, while all data remains fully integrated with the VinWizard software platform for remote access and control.

Housed inside our stainless steel control panels, the IOWIZ-4 and IOWIZ-16 are the core of your tank temperature automation. Designed and built in-house since 2016, these proven modules provide reliable, scalable control across larger groups of tanks.

  • Or up to 64 tanks with manual changeover (heat & cool / cool only / heat only)
